lives in the U.S. with his hu-mum, Helix Fairweather,
who teaches clickertraining and clicker trained dog agility.

BJ has earned several agility titles. He is my demonstration dog for all my agility classes.
BJ is a delightful dog to watch do agility.
He is currently working at the Excellent level in AKC Jumpers With Weaves
and at the Open level in AKC Standard.

BJ has been the inspriration and focus of my on-line agility class for clicker trainers

BJ is truly a working dog -assistant instructor, agility partner, course materials tester!
Bj is the light of my life,
my first Havanese,
and I'm totally taken with this delightful breed.

Not only are they adorable, they are smart, clever, easily trained,
willing to work with you, play with you, cuddle with you,
simply a fantastic dog.

Bartje, renamed "BJ" by Helix, came to live with Helix in August 1999,
when he was almost 5 years old.
Before he came to her, BJ had not received training of any kind.
He was shown during the first year of his life,
and became a champion in April 1996,
after which he stayed home, living in the house and garden of his first owner.
Therefore, Helix had to begin from scratch with BJ.
It is amazing to see what she has achieved with him in such a short time,
especially considering his age!

We are very grateful for the wonderful "second life" Helix has given to "our Bartje",
an exciting life full with joy and fun.
We are sure BJ feels the same,
and is happy to share his life with her.
We believe this is also one of the reasons that he and Helix perform so well together.
