MUCHO BRAVO HUBBA BUBBA

"BUBBA"
d.o.b. January 4, 2000
Bubba went as a puppy to Betzie and Ken Smith, and their two sons Kyle and Kevin.

When Betzie contacted me the first time, we had this "chemistry" going from the very first moment.
We felt comfortable with each other from the beginning.
And it was not a hard decision to send her one of our precious babies.
We've become friends since then, and we really enjoy our ongoing contact.

Bubba, September 2000

This is what Betzie writes about Bubba (Oct. 2000):

Bubba came to us on March 3rd, 2000, all the way from The Netherlands to our home in Salisbury, Maryland.
After a long flight, he was healthy, happy and even more adorable than all the photos Mirabell had send us.

It really was "love at first sight", and we bonded from that moment on.
He is my "best buddy", my protector, and my confidante.
To my sons, Bubba is a playmate, as well as a source of comfort when they are sad or lonely.
My hubby, who has never been quite the animal lover that I am, is totally enamoured with this guy,
and is always asking him to "give daddy licks" or "high fives".

Bubba is as smart as they come, learning all the basic tricks by the time he was three months old.
He loves our "clicker/treat" sessions, and I hope to keep obedience and agility training with him.
He also enjoys a daily walk around the neighborhood,
and will sit, stare, and make funny noises at me, until I oblige and take him out (couch potato that I am!).

He always has to come with me to take and pick-up the boys from school.
Loves car rides, and is a great little traveler.

Another great thing about Bubba is he doesn't wander.
If I go outside, he stays right with me.
I don't have to worry about him taking off and roaming the neighborhood.

He's almost always smiling, and loves to get his pictures taken.
It's like he knows to pose when I get my camera. A real HAM!

We've just recently started the BARF diet as we want to keep Bubba as healthy for as long as possible.
He sure seems to enjoy it so far.

I guess I can't say enough good things about our Bubba.
To us he is one in a million,
and we will be forever thankful to Mirabell and René Woudman for giving us such a special guy!!!
