Spekkie, one year old

Spekkie is a kind of "naughty" Havanese, but in a very funny way!
Amongst the dogs she's the instigator.
She gets everyone going in no time
and assures that all the others will become involved and excited,
so they have hilarious fun.
Spekkie is very "creative";
she often comes up with things that not only the other Havanese never thought of,
but neither did we.
So she brings us lots of unexpected surprises.
She loves to read books and papers in her very own special way......!
When we see her face, we never can be angry about anything.
She is very good for our moods.
as beautiful Spekkie makes us laugh every day!
Spekkie has produced some beautiful offspring
and was the best mother ever.
Not only did she nurse her pups very well,
she also raised them perfectly,
and played endlessly with them.
Spekkie was retired after her 4-th litter, at the age of 7 years.
As a granny she now watches over the youngsters,
a job she still takes very seriously!
Spekkie herself comes out of a litter of eight!
Her mom Sissy had no problem with that what so ever.
Spekkie inherited the carefulness from Sissy
and the beauty of her sire Willy.
We have no idea where she got her naughtiness from,
as both her parents were extremely "good kids".

As a brace, Spekkie and her father Willy took
2-nd BEST BRACE
at the World Dog Show in Amsterdam, July 6 2002
out of no less than 51 braces!
at the Dutch Toybreed Specialty 2000, the first place!
at the Dutch Toybreed Specialty 1999, the first place!
