Mucho Bravo Spunky Spikey
Spikey lives with José and Ad van den Dungen in Zijtaart.
"This year we went to Austria (Vorarlberg) for our vacation.
Our Spikey travelled with us of course.
He behaves very well in the car. After two hours sleeping he wants to go out for a bit.
Then we stop and let him out and then we continue our jouney.
He also does great with walking in the mountains and sitting in the cable railways.
Only the last day he was tired.
Our Spikey celebrated his six-th birthday in Austria.
Our Spikey attracted a great deal of notice in Austria too."

Last Saturday Yara has passed with flying colors her G&G A DIPLOMA (=obedience)!
Only 4 from the 9 dogs passed.
Yara was 2-nd best out of these four.

But right now he is on vacation in France,
where he is enjoying himself and where he feels at home very much.
On top of the stairs, with his nose in the wind, he can watch over everything.

Buster lives with Sharita and Arjen Harkema in Alphen aan de Rijn.
On May 25 he celebrated his third birthday
and this little "pirate" (as they call him lovingly sometimes) got spoiled with
a new basket and a lovely fluffy pillow.
He thought that was great already, but... his new ball was the bomb!
Brother Pebbles (at the right) is allowed to be in the new basket too.

Sjimmie lives with Petra Koster and her daughter Claudia in Haarlem.
"Elke dag is het weer genieten met die deugniet.
De hele dag is hij bezig met spelen, knuffels, touwen maar vooral ballen, en ballen die stuiteren.
We waren dan ook zeer verbaasd toen door een omhoog springende bal Sjim in ene een soort salto maakte, hij is echt zo gek.
Ik heb nog nooit gezien dat een hond uit stilstand zo hoog kan springen. Hij vindt het helemaal geweldig."

"We noemen Woud wel eens "hollands welvaren", want hij mankeert - gelukkig - nooit iets.
Hij is vanuit het nest de wasbolletjes gewend, en nog steeds,
bijna elke avond gaat hij op zoek naar een wasbol,
en speelt daar dan een tijdje mee.
Hij is wel zo snugger dat, als hij geen aandacht krijgt,
hij de wasbol zo manouvreert dat deze onder een van de kasten verdwijnt.
Hij gaat dan bij de kast liggen,
en blijft net zo lang naar je kijken, tot hij de aandacht heeft
en hij zijn wasbol weer tevoorschijn ziet komen.
(leuk hoor, het baasje op z'n knieën te zien gaan)"

"Woud" owned by family v.d. Boom, Werkendam
Hier een kleine update vanuit het met sneeuw bedekte Werkendam.
Onze "kleine" Woud vindt de sneeuw fantastisch,
hij zit bijna de hele dag bij de achterdeur
zo graag wil hij naar buiten toe om sneeuw te gaan happen.
Onze Ozzy vindt het maar koud,
maar als hij Woud voor de zoveelste keer naar buiten ziet gaan,
dan gaat hij toch ook maar een keertje mee naar buiten.
Helaas hebben we hier geen foto's van want de digitale camera is defect.
Zoals je wellicht ziet op de bijgevoegde foto's hebben we geprobeerd om een echte kerstkaart
te maken,
echter de zeer eigenzinnige havies hadden er echt geen zin in.
Vind je het gek, als je zo netjes moet gaan zitten met een kerstsjaal en een mutsje op...
We hebben op de website gelezen dat jullie weer een nestje verwachten van Lizzy.
Als de kleine pups net zo'n makkelijk karakter krijgen als Woud, dan kun je je geen betere hond wensen.
Hopelijk mag straks alles goed gaan.
Voor de rest hebben we weinig nieuws te melden,
want met Ozzy en Woud gaat het heel goed
en ze zijn echt de dikste maatjes.
Wij wensen jullie veel liefs, geluk en gezondheid voor 2010.

"Yesterday the weather was beautiful and we made this picture from our daughter and her friend and their ponies together with Bibi.
Bibi really likes these horses and when they gallop away, she runs with them as fast as she can.
My daughter's pony (his name is Jackson) also is very sweet for Bibi, I often go to him with her for a short visit.
Then they sniff at each other.
Bibi is doing very well.
She has lots of "doggy friends" in the neighbourhood,
and stays frequently with her big friend Quincy, a Tibetan Terrier.
Quincy also stays with us frequently.
Another big friend of her is a German Shepherd.
We trained them together last summer,
and the down looked very funny, because you could hardly see Bibi's head above the long grass."
